Created by artist Daniel Thorne, the obverse design of the 2024 2 oz Silver Emu Piedfort Coin depicts a new portrait of His Majesty. Charles III shown in left-profile relief wearing a suit and without a crown on his head. The official face value of 2 Australian dollars, the year (2024), the fine weight (2 ounces) and the fineness (9999 silver; abbreviated with the chemical symbol Ag) are embossed here.
